In 2025, the Medicine Hat Fish and Game Association continued its strong commitment to conservation, wildlife support, and community involvement across the region. Through volunteer efforts, educational programs, and habitat initiatives, the club made a meaningful impact locally while laying the groundwork for even more progress in 2026.

- Continued the Land Ambassador Program, monitoring and maintaining local pheasant release properties to support healthy habitats
- Operated the Pheasant Feeder Program, supplying feeders throughout the region to improve winter survival rates
- Installed a new pheasant feeder at the Police Point Interpretive Facility

What We’re Planning for 2026
So far in 2026, we’ve already hosted the annual Horn Scoring event at Seven Persons Community Hall and launched the Coyote Management Incentive Program, but we have much more planned!
Other plans for 2026 include:
- Expand the Land Ambassador Program to additional locations
- Increase the number of pheasant feeder sites across the region
- Organize cleanup efforts for another pheasant release location and a local fishing reservoir
- Support and participate in the Antelope and Mule Deer collaring project
- Continue volunteer efforts for antelope fencing initiatives
- Maintain the free Hunter Education Course for local youth
- Contribute funding toward local land acquisition, reclamation, and habitat enhancement projects
The MHFGA extends sincere thanks to all volunteers, partners, and community supporters who make this work possible. Your continued involvement and generosity play a vital role in preserving wildlife, enhancing habitat, and strengthening our outdoor heritage for future generations.
