Wildlife conservation is at the heart of everything we do.
The Medicine Hat Fish and Game Association is a not for profit, volunteer based, charitable organization that supports and promotes the common interests of ethical hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts, and is an affiliate of the Alberta Fish and Game Association.
The objectives of the our organization are to promote the conservation of our natural resources, educate the public on the importance of preserving natural habitat for our wildlife, promote the ethical harvesting of fish and game as an integral part of the overall management of our wildlife.
We’re dedicated to the procurement, enhancement, preservation and restoration of natural habitat for the many species of wildlife in Southern Alberta.
Our Mission
Medicine Hat Fish and Game follows a three point approach to our wildlife conservation efforts. We believe that everyone has a part to play in preserving wildlife and ensuring adequate habitat remains for years to come.
Conservation
We believe that our natural resources are valuable and must be protected. We’re committed to raising funds and working together to promote conservation and take action to accomplish this important task.
Public Education
Education is an important step in the conservation mission. We hope to educate the public on the importance of preserving natural habitat for our wildlife in an effort to get more people involved in this cause.
Wildlife Management
We seek to promote the ethical harvesting of fish and game as an integral part of the overall management of our wildlife. We believe hunting and fishing is an important part of maintaining a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
